I always wanted little girls in our family, but instead we had two boys.  Don’t misunderstand, I love our boys, but dressing them in pants and t shirts just isn’t the same as dressing up little girls.  Finally, it happened!  I was pregnant with twins… twin girls!  I couldn’t wait to meet them… and they couldn’t wait either.  They came early, each weighing about three pounds.

Right from the start they were completely different.  Izzy had light hair; Kate had dark.  Izzy was taller and had blue-green eyes; Kate had brown eyes.  Izzy was loud and bubbly, while Kate was quieter and more reflective.  Kate loves reading; Izzy loves math.  And we love them both.

Right from the beginning, the most fun, besides holding and loving them, was dressing them.  I found the most adorable clothes.  But undershirt tees were all too short or just didn’t seem to fit right.  That’s when I decided to create my own tees – long enough to stay tucked and still attractive with all the cute clothes for the twins.

I made some of my tees for friends.  They loved them!  When requests overwhelmed my sewing time, I decided to find a manufacturer to make the tees available to everyone.  We have gone to numerous material suppliers to find the perfect material for the tees.  We settled on a blend of 95% percent cotton and 5% spandex.  We chose a non-peel weave for comfortable wear and long life.  For the best quality, we use local fabricators to cut, sew and mark our tees… Made in USA!

Oh, and about the name.  Skritch is our precocious black cat that (almost) everyone loves.
